NIGERIAN PHILATELIC SERVICE |

The Nigerian Philatelic Service is responsible for the designing and production
of postage stamps in the country. It was established in 1969 to improve the standard
and quality of Nigerian postage stamps and to provide adequate philatelic services
to both Nigerians and non-Nigerians alike at home and abroad. Nigeria was admitted
as the 78th member-nation of the Federal Internationale de Philatelie in 1996.
