DIVISIONAL FUNCTIONS
11. FINANCE AND INVESTMENTS DIVISION FUNCTIONS:
The functions carried out by the Territorial Administration Division are as indicated below
To fund Corporate Plans and Budgets.
To formulate Financial and Accounting policies.
To devise strategies for effective revenue generation, collection and disbursement.
To advise Management on the most cost-effective methods of carrying out operations and hence ensure adequate returns on investments.
To install internal checks and control in all aspects of financial management.
To facilitate the provision of operation stock and stores and the maintenance of appropriate records pertaining thereto.
To prepare periodic financial reports.
STRUCTURE:
The Division has three main departments that report to the Deputy Postmaster-General (F & I). The three departments are:-
1. Accounts Department
2. Treasury and Investments Department
3. Materials Management Department |
