PROCEDURE FOR REGISTERING A COURIER
COMPANY |

|
1. |
Application in writing. |
|
|
2. |
Purchase of Relevant forms. |
|
|
3. |
Submission of completed application forms with stipulated requirements like: |
|
|
|
- Duely stamped memorandum of Articles of Association with at least N2M paid
up capital. |
|
|
|
- Certificate of incorporation of company in Nigeria.
|
|
|
|
- Indemnity Insurance Policy not less than N500,000.00
|
|
|
|
- Tax clearance certificate. |
|
|
|
- Company profile and investment report.
|
|
|
|
- Samples of courier stationeries like waybills, labels, tags, tamper envelope,
receipts, mailbags and registered trademark (if any) etc. |
|
|
|
- Partnership, merger, alliance (or such other arrangements) agreements (if
any). |
|
|
|
- Evidence of infrastructures e.g. numbers of trucks, motor cars, motorcycles
and aircraft (if any). |
|
|
|
- Such other information or evidence that may assist the Postmaster-General
in taking a decision. |

|
4. |
Payment of a One million Naira (N1M) registration fee in bank draft. |
|
|
5. |
Inspection of facility of the applicant. |
|
|
6. |
Publishing of approved list of successful applicants.
